Process Engineer at Nestle Waters

Description Worldwide leader in bottled water (turnover: 9 billion Swiss francs, 106 factories), Nestlé Waters operates in 160 countries and employs 27,690 people. Nestlé Waters M.T. is an internal consulting company giving advice, assistance and support to our 30 subsidiaries worldwide.
Our Product Technology Centre (PTC, Water) is looking for a:
Process Engineer for a 1 year contract

Position based in Vittel (Vosges - East of France)
Your Assignment:

Our PTC (Research and Development centre) is leading innovative engineering solutions development. Reporting to the project manager in the engineering group, you will improve, consolidate, build up and document expertise in one very innovative project.

It will be your goal to learn from previous experiments and modify the existing prototype or build new one. This shall broaden the scope of this technology to various fields of products of the Nestlé Group and improve understanding of this process.

For this, you will cooperate closely with our blowing and filling experts as well as suppliers.

Strong relationship with potential manufacturer of industrial solutions will come out of these results.
Your tasks will include the following:
•Research & Development

-Consolidate past experiences .

-Improve the existing prototype or build a new one and conduct pilot plant trials.

-Define program of experimentation to test other products (Carbonated – Hot temperature…)

-Define hygienic conditions.

-Up-date constantly an overview of the project.
•Consulting & Expertise

-Consult supplier to find the best equipment to improve the prototype according to the results.

•Documentation & Consolidation

-Document on going experiments and modifications.

-Consolidate results for further discussion with potential partners.

•Communication

-Prepare documents to communicate the results according to Nestle level of confidentiality.
Your profile shall ideally be the following:

-Engineering degree in mechanical or electrical engineering

-At least 3 years of experience in processing or equipment development

-Experience in project management

-Good communicator, motivator and team worker; fluent oral and written English

-Flexibility to travel for short and mid term missions
