JOB DESCRIPTION
·  He will be responsible for a business unit.

·  He will also provide management with reports to assist in decision-making.

RESPONSIBILITIES
·  Manage the Demand Planning process (upper stream) by enforcing the planning discipline through elaboration and implementation of proper planning tools such as: Sales Forecast, Stock & Sales Report, Performance Report, Week Of Sales/stock and challenge all concerned parties on building blocks to ensure effective rotation of stocks (market trends, sales history & trends, running rate and growth rationales, etc)

·  Manage the Product Supply process (upper stream) including MRP, commercial & shipping terms, reconciliation with suppliers, sourcing optimization, suppliers service level agreement, etc

·  Manage the different aspects of the logistics operation (lower stream) including importation & clearance, transportation, warehousing of both raw material & finished goods and distribution of the goods.

·  He will also manage the Third Party Logistics provider to ensure proper storage and distribution of finished goods across 58 Distribution Centers scattered pan Nigeria

·  Be a principal negotiator on behalf of Company including resolution of commercial terms and conditions, negotiation of back charges and major change orders.

·  Measure actual performance against goals on regular basis and present results to Senior Management.

·  Work closely with the distributor network and ensure constant availability of the products across the country, while avoiding over-stock situation both in-house and at customers end

·  Develop and Implement cost effective solutions for process improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities:

This is a leadership role in the medical team that is responsible for delivering cost effective and curative general medical care in the hospital and the Residential area of SPDC in Port Harcourt. The position is offered on expatriate terms for a period of 3 years with possibility of renewal. The Key tasks include:
· Provision of general/medical care to SPDC staff and dependants

· 24hr/week emergency general/specialist duty care to patients

· Medical evacuation and resuscitation services

· Development of procedures and protocols for optimization of services effective for general / specialist medical care

· Provision of health education for patients, subordinates and management aimed at developing a healthy workforce

· Ensure continuous self-development through participation in internal and external training programs

· Ensure suitability, availability and serviceability of all equipment needed to deliver routine and specialist care
Requirements:

The ideal candidate must have an MBBS and 5 years post fellowship qualification in General Practice.. Additionally an ACLS as well as BLS/ /ATLS is required.

· Demonstrated ability to manage change in a specialized industry whilst maintaining professionalism

· Must be an excellent team player possessing good Leadership skills and service orientation

· Must be proficient in the use of computers

Sciences, Sciences, Applied Science or Engineering. They will have 3 – 5 years experience in brand management in a reputable fast moving consumer goods company and be

able to demonstrate the quality of their contribution to the attainment of the marketing objectives of their previous experience.

Candidates without brand management experience may apply for the Trainee position, but should ideally also possess an MBA qualification obtained on a full-time basis

from a reputable Higher Institution and have some commercial experience. Candidates for this position are likely to be within the 26 – 28 age range.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Successful candidates will report to the General Manager (Marketing) and will be responsible for delivering the following:

Accelerate growth development of assigned brand(s) by implementing strategies that drive brand-building, including awareness, trial, usage, preference, value for money, etc. Specifically, this will include:
Development of annual brand plans
Excellent, timely, cost-effective and cost-efficient implementation of approved brand activities.
Growing the brand equity, and constant monitoring and management of the brand's health, using key brand metrics
Leading the understanding of consumer habits (usage, attitude, media habits, etc) and leveraging them to drive brand growth through insightful brand communication and marketing activities.
Leading the design and implementation of brand activities that drive trial, usage and loyalty amongst existing and new users.
Identify new 'big' growth drivers and develop plans to exploit them.
Project leadership for other assigned projects.
